Well, not exactly true. They exist, but cost around $80,000 (really). As
profressional photographers we keep up on the latest cyber stuff, but the
bottom line is that the technology is not yet here, or affordable.
However, many of us remember the days when extremely 'basic' calculators
cost $250, and when old mainframe computers could not/hold process the
information of the most basic of personal computers today.
What we are saying is that _eventually_ film will be a product of the past
like typewriters and and personal (live) answering services. All the
technology in the world however will not repalce skill and talent behind
the lens.
