If film is ever replaced by ccd's, it'll be about 500 years
down the road. In a normal 8 x 10 print made from film, there
is over 10 megabytes of data and this is of a 'Normal' print,
now you go into some of the ones like I've done in the way of
a 'Art' photo with fine detail and many many colors, then your
looking at close to or over 100 megs of data per 8 x 10 print.
I do my work Inside the camera, I watch for and do my work in
bits of time that will never be seen again, I've spent a many
long years training to see via the camera lens.
Oh BTW people, I, Dennis Bishop (Dahliaman) took 1st Place in
the Am.Dahlia Soc. Photo Contest for 1997 in the class of Artist
photos. You all may now hubble yourselves before me! :>
