While out in my vast almost endless gardening space,
today,(the space between the two trailers) I checked
on the L.A.Iris that came over with me from Hawaii,
I'id have to look up their names again, but no new
fans were showing, so i checked on the roots, and
I think the roots are trying to reach down to
Red China! So I figure, now that it looks like we're
heading towards the high 60's and into 70's during
the next week and beyound, that I should be seeing
some new fans on them soon. Maybe this time next year
they'll bloom for me! I'm hunting for my other Iris
catalogs, but I'm looking for the L.A.iris named
'Godzilla' got to get it! after all the BIG time
movie by that name is coming out this year!
BTW, I got the Fire Mountain iris catalog today,
nice one, wish I had that kind of a printer!
I'm going to have a good combo here in years to come!
Iris blooming in the Spring and Dahlias in late summer
with Morring Glorys and Moon Vines and others the rest
of the time! My trailer is going to be lost in a full
Jungle until winter! Also almost forgot about my Cannas
that'll be growing too!
now I've also got some Iris Missor. seeds along with other
flower seeds that came with computer disks today, did
someone say was I going to do any planting? Na. ;}
Now if only I could find some GOLD while doing all this digging!
