OT:el nino and Gumboots

Tell us, Andrew, what DO you wear to protect you from venimous creatures 
and mud? Paddington Bear wears Wellies and a Mac. In Australia we wear 
gumboots and oilskins. 

I attended my daughters Uni. graduation in Melbourne on Sat. and as I 
stepped from the car, parked miles from anywhere, dressed in my 'sunday 
best', the drought broke. Could have done with a brollie, some gumbies 
and a cardie.

I might pull back the mulch from the base of my irises today, if the 
weather warms up a bit. (Shivver!)
