Hello,
I'm new to this list, have been sitting back enjoying the posts, But now
have a question.
I have an Iris that was passed down to me from my mother whos mother had
passed it down to her but I dont have any idea what the name of this Iris
is..Its a deep purple with black etching when it blooms, it gets about 3ft
tall (guessing, never measured) Does anyone know what its called? also down
the road on a bank by an old barn is a grouping of Iris theese are a very
pale yellow almost white, with no markings..they to grow tall. The farmer
doesnt know where they came from and have been there as long as he can
remember..Hes an elderly gentleman so I'd guess quite a few years. Any help
would be welcomed with open arms.
Thank You.
Sincerely,
Theresa Robinson
