Re: Iris Labels

I believe someone has mentioned Eon Industries garden markers previously.
They produce rose markers in several heigths as well as other styles of
markers. The writing area is made of zinc, and the wires are galvanized. I
have been using these for several years, with little corrosion. I used a
black "Sharpie" marker the first year, which faded. I used a nursery marker
and a nursery pencil to redo them, and 2 years later there is little fade.
The price varies, but in quantities of 100, they were .25 each for the 20"
rose style markers. They are even resistant to frost heave in Ohio, but
then I use the longer ones and stick them about 10" in the dirt.
