Rick or anyone else who cares to comment!
Referring to an earlier post from Rick concerning herbicides used on
iris beds. "Poast used as an over the top grass killer, Pardner used as
an over the top broadleaf killer and Surflan used as an over the top
pre-emergent."
We are being overrun with a broadleaf called "hen bit ??" I know others
in this area are having the same problem. I now have Poast and Surflan
but am having a great deal of difficulty finding "Pardner." It seems no
farm supply/chemical supply in this area carries this particular
herbicide. So on to my question......Is there any other "over the top"
broadleaf herbicide that can be safely used on iris? All comments are
welcome. We are currently on our hands and knees pulling this stuff out
of our beds but this is a huge job and the beds that have been completed
are starting to show a re-emergence of this same weed.
Thanks, Glenn
