Marte,
On TB types I order one. My experience is for these to increase rapidly as
a general rule, so if I want a larger spot there are usually plenty of
rhizomes available soon enough. It gives me a chance to choose those I
prefer without buying extras of the ones which don't do as well or that I
don't like as well. When I'm trying species or iris types I'm not sure
will do as well, I may purchase more until I learn whether it will grow in
this area.
