Is this considered to be desireable?One of the characteristics which I prefer in
a perennial plant is that it not overrun it's planting space too soon. When I go
to the trouble of planting a perennial I like to think that it will be a minimum
of three years before I need to dig and replant.
I expect that there are varied opinions but my preference is for a plant which is
healthy but not overly vigorous.
