I am doing some research on some pedigrees. (I have many already run, but
Sharon's pages excited me all over again tonight!) I went back through some
and am charting some current new ones: i.e., Suspicion (Keppel '99), oh man,
wow! And I love one of it's parents: Wishful Thinking! Lynda Miller had a
great shot of it at our Judges Training; but I digress.
To gather further information on some cultivars, does anyone have any
experience growing and/OR breeding any of the following?
Flying Skirts (Burseen '94) -- Gorgeous ruffled blue. Have seen it bloom
once. Oh man!
Citoyen (Anfosso '89) -- s. are orange beige, f. raspberry gold, beige flash
with org bds.
Fascinator (Hager '90) -- s. lav/brown, f. deeper but turns gold. Sounds
yummy, never have seen it.
Amber Artisan (Williamson '94) -- blend of buff, tan, amber and gold. Very
ruffled. Never saw it, and apparently it doesn't have much distribution.
Coming Up Roses (Gatty '92) -- very ruffled pink.
Lois Parrish (Black '97) -- medium lilac, looks a lot like Feature
Attraction, wonder if it grows better?
Tomoko (Nelson '89) -- lilac with big red bds. I have seedlings from this
that are very nice. However, they don't bloom every year, or haven't so far
with all my moving around.
Old Loyalties (Innerst '96) -- pink/blue. My favorite color combination!
Blue Suede Shoes (Sch. '96) -- med. blue, Re. It bloomed in spring for me
last year. Does it rebloom for anyone outside OR? How does it grow? It
kinda sulked here.
Well, that's enough for now. Any information will be readily
accepted.........
