Gary Sides growing irises in Tennessee asked about performance of
several cultivars:
I have WISHFUL THINKING and COMING UP ROSES, both new this year - too
soon to say how they hold up in the 'garden of death'. Several folks on
list posted earlier about good performance of WISHFUL THINKING (check
the archives for more). Rick Tasco posted about C U R a year or so ago
and said it tended to sulk for them in California. It is one of the
fall deciduous types. I will post about them during bloom season,
though my 'trial garden' may be more extreme conditions than you want to
know about.
