The following cultivars were listed in the 1994 Shepard Iris Garden
catalog:

ADOBE SUNSET - dark brown, wide circular yellow signal
AMBITION - very dark brown, deep yellow veins and signals
CHOCOLATE DIP - deep velvety brown, orange signal
CHOCOLATE FUDGE - deep brown, orange signal
JET SET - burnt umber with bright yellow veins
PICACHO PEAK - reddish brown stds & rims around large golden yellow falls
SAHARA SANDS - smooth brown with yellow infusion
SATINWOOD - deep brown with orange infusion on center of falls
SPICED TEA - tea colored with bright yellow signal, fall rimmed with light
brown
TERRA NOVA - blended golden russet, bright gold signal

Nothing here described as "Chestnut brown", but they sound scrumptious,
nevertheless, don't they?
