...an iris convention is not just about flowers - it's about people. Although
I love to see the seedlings and irises I may otherwise not run across, I
really go to hear the speakers and talk to the folks..... and I'm never
disappointed!
I'm happy for the flower that brings us together.....and I'm happy for the
folks that appreciate the flower.
I wholeheartedly agree, Kathy. In fact, one can say that about every aspect
of irisdom, starting with the local societies. I can't begin to remember how
many of our local members have said that they came to a meeting because of the
flower, but joined and became involved because of the people.
Can't wait to meet my newfound computer geek friends in Oklahoma City!
