Re: OT-CHAT:Reasons for Joining AIS

From: "Lew" <bcl@mail2.texnet.net>

Hi Everyone

Why join AIS? From a newby, I decided to try growing iris last year, have
always loved them (am 56 yr. old) but never grown them. I joined this list
and have learned a lot but have SO MUCH MORE to learn. Looks to me like
jumping in head first is the best way!

Received my first Regional Newsletter Saturday and AIS membership
confirmation WITH the January Bulletin today. Also received our hotel
reservations confirmation from the Biltmore in OKC today!! I'm in "hog
heaven!"

Now if I can just get my first bloomstalk.

Friends on the List,
We are trying to convince some people to join AIS. We are compiling a
list of reasons for joining AIS. Can you share some convincing reasons why
one should join?
