Sounds good John. Are you aware that Asprin has been used for many, 
many, MANY years, to prolong the life of cut flowers? A soluble asprin 
is added to the water. It may have a similar (anti fungal, anti 
bacterial) effect.
I'm certainly willing to give it a try.
