Hi:
It seems to me that it would be a good idea when assembling a judging panel
to insure that at least one of the judges knows beardless irises...this
would help address the issue of having a panel that is totally unfit. I
have seen judges back off and defer to a more knowledgeable judge...and
this is healthy if the judge being deferred to is really knowledgeable.
This approach means that the person selecting the judges will need to keep
a close eye on the lists of available judges...learn their strengths and
weaknesses, etc.
