Yes, I do know about Tom.  He created a little iris mecca in Alberta.  I had
forgotten that he had moved.  I even mentioned him to a few western
Canadians until I was corrected.  I never did make it to Alberta and was
planning a visit this summer.  I don't blame him for being lured to iris
paradise but it would have been nice to have a strong iris presence in the
Canadian prairies.
