I would love to know why Walter, and Perry, and others have selected
particular cv's for their wish lists. Much more interesting knowing WHY
they have made these choices rather than simply a list of what they
want.
Have they seen these irises growing in test gardens, or in neighbors
gardens.
Are they buying because they look nice in the catalogues,
Have won prizes in shows,
Have intersting parentage for breeding,....etc. etc.
Looking for answers ... Jan Clark, in Australia, where the irises look
bluer on the Schreiner side of the fence, and Blyth irises are not so
interesting because they are easier to obtain.
