Jan, it is a combination of factors. Two of these wish list things
are out of GALLANT ROGUE, which has been in my garden at least five
years and has made a gigantic clump of two fans and no bloom in that
time. I have waited until favorable reports in climates similar to
mine have come in on the two G R children I want. They have, so I
feel my chances of seeing bloom are pretty good.
Of course, the bloom naturally figures into the picture. I want
these for hybridizing projects as well.
I have also waited for the prices to go down; however, the price on
HEAVEN has gone up. There is demand for it as it may not increase
as fast as FANTASTIC BLUE (a kudzu type grower) so up the ante.
Lastly, you have to CHANGE YOUR WAYS to get HEAVEN, and I am trying
desperately to be a very good boy.
