I helped do the labels for the OKC Convention gardens. Some of the gardeners
sprayed their tags green before applying the labels which were white. This
would work with clear labels. You could choose your background color. It's
your choice.
One convention garden woman griped that too much of the tag showed behind
her labels. And if the sun was shining that tag glared in her eyes. She
never noticed me glaring at her. Because she has repeated her complaint each
time I've seen her.
By the way, we visited Dana & Vern Brown's garden in Lubbock, Texas lately.
The tags attached to the landscape timbers is a very good idea.
