>(Still oversimplified) A rebloomer is then a vigorous grower that has
lost the need for one or both of the triggers. A summer or fall
rebloomer has lost the need for winter, and a winter rebloomer has lost
the need for spring. An everbloomer has lost both.

An iris which blooms out of season may have been triggered by some
strange out of season condition, e.g. unseasonal cold (or warm) weather,
Digging and replanting in a different climate, or microclimate. This is
why I worry about Rosalie's collection of 'rebloomer' names, as I feel
that some reported as rebloomers might only rebloom once, and only in
one garden.
Jan Clark, wishing she had even 1 day of Mesmerizer bloom. (Still on my
wish list until the price comes down)
