Walter, I think you are right that Michigan doesn't have such drastic
temperature changes in the winter.  I have a nephew there and all I ever
hear from him is snow and ice and car accidents.  He is college age and
has had two accidents involving black ice in the last three years.
Perhaps they don't have our wild weather swings, but their winters are
ferocious with snow, ice and cold!  So, the luminatas must be able to
withstand harsh, but not swinging, temperatures.
