Perry, thank you for replying concerning Misty Hills. My guess is they
will put out a catalog again this year or next. I know they will not
forget to send an order, even if it takes a year. I did not know that
Mr. Gibbs was ill and had passed away too! This is terribly sad. I
still have 4 of Monty and Bill's catalogs. They are WELL used, because
Monty told all in his catlog about each variety. Finding out all the
particulars about an iris since his passing is like doing detective
work! (Perry, I know that you don't have time to put all his notes into
your catalog, and I guess others don't either.) Every year, I wish
Monty had been able to see, grow and comment on some of the newer iris.
He told the good and the bad, every possible detail, including fertility
and which way. He also started me on rebloomers early, and I've never
been sorry for that!
