Howdy Walter,
Yep, they both pod well here. Have several crosses by and from both in the
ground right now. We have very nice spring weather, usually dry and warm.
It seems like a lot of the stuff that has been declared infertile, pod
barren or pollen barren can produce stuff here. I was looking at the pots
of seedlings yesterday and saw my cross of SILVERADO X SILVER FIZZ. SILVER
FIZZ is extremely difficult to hybridize with but it can be done. I had one
very small pod set on it last year, it had two seeds which germinated and
are growing right now. Who knows what's possible under the right
conditions?
Mike

These are two of the best rebloomers form wise and otherwise. I
have had them for several years now, and neither has had pollen on
them spring or fall. I have succeeded in getting only one pod on
CLARENCE, which fell off before it could mature. I cannot pod
ROSALIE FIGGE either.
Hopefully, in other climates these two have pollen or can be podded.
Mike Sutton, have you had any luck with these two?
