I think you would be happy to sit back and watch the flowers grow and not be embroiled in the debate as to who wants you (Central California) as part of "their" next state.  No need to have a location complex since you are in one of the most beautiful and fertile parts of the state.  What I wouldn't give to be back there.

Interesting, isn't it?  I think we are officially listed as no mans land.
We aren't Northern CA but we aren't SO CA and nobody seems to be interested
in creating a central or mid CA.  So we will just sit here with a "lack of
location" complex and watch the flowers bloom.
