I've been enjoying Spring for a few weeks now! I've almost gotten all the beds
free of tiny weeds and tons of leaves. I've removed all the spent leaves from
the TBs and most of them are looking wonderful! Now I'm going thru catalogs
and making The List for this year. I'm trying to keep from getting carried
away this time! Ha! Mostly going after the remaining Dykes I need to finish
that bed, since it's prepared and waiting for them.
I bought some nice Munstead Lavender that I'll be planting this week. And a
few other herbs like Lemon Thyme and Chocolate Mint. They smell SO yummy!!
My Siberian Iris are about 6 inches out of the ground. And my Stella D'Oros
are about the same height. The pear trees have bloomed, the cherry trees are
just starting, the daffodils are almost gone and now I wait for my Iris!! I'm
so excited!! This will be my first spring with these huge beds and over 300
TBs. I'm hoping for a wonderful display!
This really is a great time of year!
