Joni, have you been growing all the Dykes medal winners for several
years? Do you garden in a location that gets bad spring freezes? Do
you keep notes on what blooms normally each year? If you do/did,
especially these past two years, I'd be very interested in reading which
ones bloomed normally and which ones didn't. Thanks.

spring has definitely sprung - late freezes have been absolutely feeble
here & nights consistently cold enough to keep things tough. Native
bloodroots, bluebells, trout lilies in full swing, dutchman's britches,
non-native trout lilies getting underway. Last bad freeze usually hits
when the pear tree is in full bloom - that should be sometime in the
next week at the rate things are going.
