Today along with some of the others I've reported on, I found Amigo in
full bloom, along with one Mary Frances, and Fashion Passion too. Then
I spotted one Elenors Pride in bloom, with two others having stalks on
them. I found 2 Titans Glory with stalks. Istanbul's 1st flower faded
away, but at lest one more bud will open soon. Her Royal has a stalk,
and within a day or two I should habe flowers on Coming
attraton.Sneezy,Hers, Alabama Bound and Dodge City.
Then I found something odd on Night Attack, the bloom stalk was up
good, but the top bug was hanging down, the stalk between the top bud
and the next one looked like someing had taking a hot iron to it, it
looked burned and was flat and brown colored. I cliped the flower off
and it's now in a floating plastic lid in a cup of water. I can only
hope it'll go ahead and bloom.
I am setting up something that I hope maybe an LAI can live in. I had
a plastic box with soild sides but a bottom that's like a milk carton,
water would pass right on threw.
I've made a hole out in the garden and it's in it with soil filling in
around it, I'll pit in about 1/2inch of steer, and then fill the other
8in with potting soil, with it getting all the water it'll need, I
figure this might be a good spot for a test of an LAI.
