OT: Request for research details please

  Hi folks,

Well, the jetlag has worn off and things are starting to get back to normal.

I have buckets of orders to process but before I get started I was wondering if those of you who are on iris-talk could help me with some research information?

Those of you who have purchased our cultivars from the now defunct Lone Star Iris Gardens of Garland, Texas in 1997 and/or 1998 could assist us greatly with some research into how well our "babies" have settled in to their new homes in the USA.

We are particularly keen to learn of reliability, ease of conversion to a reversal of seasons, increase since year of purchase, general plant stamina etc. etc.

The only way to truly guage this from the myriad of micro-climates within the USA is to just "ask the question".

Okay, so we've asked the question. Can we have some answers please?

If any of you have purchased Pryor cultivars from Lone Star Iris Gardens in 1997 and 1998 (and at this stage we are not interested to learn about those varieties which we have exported ourselves over the last 12 months or so) I would most grateful to learn about them. Please make sure to list the varieties, date of purchase as well as how they have settled in.

I think that the information gleaned will make most interesting reading!

If you know of somebody who is not "online" who has purchased some varieties I would be pleased to learn of their address and I will write to them (or you can ask them!).

To save clogging up the airwaves, please reply to me privately.

  Thanks in advance.
  Heather Pryor
