HI Walter,
Your right about both of these. Just went out to measure
Frequent Flyer it must have been 42" except the stalk was missing,
somebody cut it down and took it. I have the rebloomers out by the
street. It has had stalks 5 times since fall. Other good rebloomers
here are Feedback,  Tennison Ridge, Rio Vista. 
I still grow your Gold Reprise === so i guess I can't be all bad.

old "Sign of the Iris "Garden 1952.

Midnight Oil (TB '98 Keppel) has 4 stalks on a second year plant.
A little short this year but sure dark. 
Real short and small are Romantic Evening & Wild Wings (both beautiful
though)
The best was Ennoble ('99 Ghio) He also sent 2 rhizomes as
extras last year and they did great. Dark sooty cerise or dark cherry,
Just great.
