Re: OT Subject Tags Yes!


As a relatively new member, I've watched the "back and forth" about
subject tags without feelings one way or the other.  Now, however, that
I belong to other groups that don't use them I find I often use precious
time scanning through messages that are interesting but not what I need
to know.  Our subject tags let me scan the digest on a busy day and pick
just those messages that look as if they contain information I need.  Of
course I miss some good stuff but I can not read it all, just as I can't
read all the mail that lands in our box from the PO.  It's a pain to
check what the subject tag should be but the "powers that be" don't seem
to fuss as long as we're close.  It's a good system and I thank whoever
thought it up.  For me it's a real help.
