A very well informed source has notified me offlist that the cumulative
total number of different irises registered to date by the American Iris
Society is closer to 50,000 than it is to the 70,000 I mentioned in my
reply to Sharon.
Good news for those whose aim is to grow every iris there is. Think of the
savings! (-:
