SHOW: South Plains Iris Society Show Report

	We had our show today and I was pleasantly surprised
by the number and quality of entries.  It is very late
in our season and there were not a lot of iris out
there.  We had a large SPU entry, some LA's, and even
some Sibe's.  Of course the majority entered were TB's
but there were a few medians also.  The Queen of Show
went to Glenna Keesee's Spuria Archie Owens which was
absolutely beautiful.  Vernon and I had the best TB -
Hearthstone, and the best median - Flirty White Skirts
(thank you Opal!).  We also won the Silver medal with
13 blues out of 15 entries (the maximum our society
allows).  Bill and Eupha Skillman won the Bronze
Medal.  It was a beautiful show and will be open
through tomorrow at 5:00 p.m. for anyone wishing to
drop by the Garden and Arts Center and have a look
see.
