Mornin'
Regarding Perry Dyer's status: As far as I know Perry Dyer has no new
e-mail address, and is just having a problem with flash.net. Apparently,
once a flash.net mailbos fills up, it's a problem to get enough messages
deleted so as to get it fully functioning again. Although, I just received a
message from a San Antonio friend who was having so much trouble with
flash.net that he finally just gave up and switched to another.
I saw Perry in Dallas at the National AIS Convention. Although he's now at
peak iris bloom, he's currently in Florence Italy judging the Premio' Firenze
International Iris Competition for the second time in recent years. Let's
hope nothing like THORNBIRD gets any awards this time around, or they might
not be sending him back in one piece... :-)
As I recall, I'm sure he'll be gone through this weekend when Oklahoma has
the bulk of our iris shows (May 6th & 7th)... I think he's in Italy ---
maybe for a week total... The last several months when I've needed him, I
just call. That is the surest way. He's home most evenings and inside after
dark, which is about 8:30pm CST here... If he doesn't answer, he's pretty
good to check his voice mail...
Kath in OKC.... =^.^= AIS Region 22, USDA Zone 7... where we have had NO
rain to speak of since last Sunday, although 85 miles north/northeast of us
around Sapulpa & the Tulsa area are experiencing the worst flooding in 30
some years...
