I have three two-year clumps of Ruffled Goddess which are sick puppies.
The bloom stalks are going limp near the top, the flowers are dying, and
now I'm beginning to see symptoms of the fans starting to collapse. No
signs of sticky stuff indicating rot. It would appear to be some sort of
fungus or other malady in the vascular system, blocking flow of moisture
or nutrients.
The clumps had been proceeding with normal bud and stalk formation until
about the last week. It is at the end of a bed, but it's neighbors on
the other side do not seem to be infected so far.
Any ideas?
