The most important thing to remember about Cygon 2E is...
FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! Seriously, the stuff is safe when used as
directed.
I have not encountered Kathy's problems here in Ottawa, nor am I as
sensitive to its smell as Ian is. I add an insecticidal soap as well.
I spray quite low on the plant to ensure the rhizome and base foliage is
covered. The soil does get a drench about the rhizome.
Dave Silverberg drenches the soil without spraying. I follow his advice
as much as possible.
