CULT: Bloom Time

It was agreed upon by all at the show that this year
the show came very late in our season. So, I decided
to come home and check the listed bloom time of the 15
iris I took to the show. 1 was a BB, listed as ML, 1
was an MTB listed as ML, the remaining 13 were TB's
and one is listed as E-M, 6 are listed as M, 4 were
listed as ML and only 2 are listed as L.
Has anyone else noticed anything similar over the
years? Is there a stigma attached to a Late blooming
iris?
