CULT: Applying Cygon

After reading your message I went outside and looked all over the yard
for dead animals and birds. I'm happy to report that I didn't find any.
When I applied the Cygon I was very careful about drift, though, and
sprayed when there was no wind.

I feel guilty using such harsh chemicals and I hope I can avoid it next
year. I'll know better how well borers are under control when I dig
some clumps in the fall. If I don't find them, I can go back to just
being vigilant in the spring and squishing them in the leaves when I
see signs.
