-Cut them when there is a lot of colour in the bud. Wrap the
developed
buds with toiletpaper and tie lightly with thread or use scotch tape.
Re cut the stalk when inside and with the stock under water, then
place in a container. Two liter pop bottles usually work very well
unless you have something like Supreme Sultan, that needs an old
fashioned glass milk bottle. Take out a few hours before you need it.
It may need to be put in warm water at that point. unwrap the buds
carefully. You may need to blow on them a little or spray them with
water
