It was a great show. Lots of folks came to Turfland Mall to see the
beautiful Show. The publicity was great as Beverely Fortune wrote a 2 piece
spread on Irises and Hugh Thurman's Garden, and Bill Grise's Garden in
Saturday's Lexington's Herald Leader Newspaper with a full picture of Hugh
Thurman on the cover of the tabloid section. Also Channel 27 did a feature on
"Afternoon" with Mary D Corkern from the BGIS as Barbara's special guest with
a vase of irises to bubble over . And Channel 18 did a feature on "Let's do
Lunch" with me at my garden. They did 3 live sections of my garden and one
parting shot of irises. I enjoyed the experience.
