I have found weather to effect TBs this way. It seems to happen when there is
warm weather and the flower stocks grow faster then usuall. Then with hot
weather they fall over. I had one year several years ago when most of my TBs
were like this following a very hot spell of weather with accelerated growth.
This was after a cold spell. That year I didn't evaluate any of the seedlings
on strength of their stock.
