I planted the PC in the woods. They get shade from the heat of the day. They also get protection from the with leaves in the winter. The only then I am worry about the summer heat and how it gets here.

    Are you planning to pot the PCNs?  I suggest you try a few in a mix of equal
    parts potting soil/sand/lava sand. This is the only mix that I've tried that
    they seem to like.  There is some magic in the lava sand! Let me know if you
    try it.
