Having lugged around my share of the expensive big heavy when full
sprayers back in my tobacco growing days, now I prefer the really small
sprayers - the all plastic half gallon size with screw on lid/sprayer
combination from the local 'Mart. No metal parts, so they don't
corrode, lightweight, cheap, easy to use.
The guys at the Coop talked me into buying a humongous 5 gallon
container of Roundup concentrate (lifetime supply at lower price) - I
keep a smaller jug of the stuff handy for pouring a dollop into the
sprayers, fill with a few glasses of water, and I'm ready to spray.
When I'm finished, I just loosen the lids a bit to release the
pressure. If I have solution left, I just leave it in the containers &
never wash them. The ones that are wider at the bottom than the top
take up more shelf space than the cylindrical ones, but are less likely
to tip over while refilling on lumpy ground/grass.
