I had some very VERY light blue iris boom this year, and by afternoon,
the full mojave desert sun had bleached them to pure white, I've got
Belo booming now, white with a laverder edge to the falls, but by
afternoon, it looked all white due to the sun fading the light color.
I've wondered if this could be going on with these peoples iris too.
