Sorry,
Stepping out(Schreiner 65) white stitched pansy violet. Sorry, but SO is a
purple plicata, another wrongly labelled one. Your purple black could be
anything. Take it to you next iris show, someone may be able to identidy it.
Could actually be a median like Blackwatch.
Prob the best way to get rid of pseudocorus is to completely, and I mean
completely grub every little bit out of where it is. Replant some where your
sure you'll never want to move it from and put the rest in a black plastic
bag, tie it off and leave it in the sun, till it's completely destroyed. The
old rotting out in a bin of water prob won't work with pseudocorus. Don't
just toss it as it'll grow.
Don't plant on a creek or near flowing water, or your council will hate you
as it resolutely spreads downstream.
