The entire rhizome wasn't tipped over (that is out of the ground - I plant
deeper than most) just individual stalks.

I can't remember a lack of rain here and I have lived in this area for
14 years. One August it didn't rain as much as usual and folks were
calling it a "drought". It rained plenty in September and October and they
then could go back to their modus operandi and curse the rain gods and watch
the rivers overflow their banks.
We had no more than three days in the past 2 - 3 weeks without a signifant
amount of rain. It usually rains some every day from April to the beginning
of Nov. and we do have a rainy season that we are in now which makes our May
"mud season".

Still only MDBs blooming with SDBs in green bud also aphyllas in colored
bud. Worried about leaf spot as usual. Siberian foliage looking wonderful.
