Say, I recently talked with a Deborah Jeppson who is kind of a
coordinator of the Pocatello Iris Festival 2000 which is being held on
June
10th. I called the phone # listed in the most recent AIS bulletin
(Pocatello Chamber of Commerce) and they gave Deborah's phone #. She's
actually a member of the Pocatello Garden Club (not the Iris club) and
she just sent me some more information (including maps on the self guided
tours) on their show which is a week after our Twin Falls Iris Show.
She had a lot of good information on how to make a garden club more
interesting with guest speakers like a butterfly expert and one on
creating
a bird habitat. Also, they have posters made up for their Show that they
display all over Pocatello and Idaho Falls in stores, restaurants and
Chamber of Commerce. She said they didn't have firm details for their
show
when they placed their ad in the AIS bulletin which made the ad sound kind
of vague as to exact place the show is being held.
She said they have their iris sale on July 29th this year which is kind of
early.

There's one bus tour in the morning and one in the afternoon (different
