This idea appeals to me. Are you trying to use the same irises as G&K to try 
and reproduce the results of certain crosses?
It would be interesting to try and 'recreate' irises which are perhaps no 
longer in existence but still exist in photos. Of course you can never have 
the genetically identical iris again.
I hope none of our scientists get carried away and try and recreate some of 
our early hominid ancestors!
