Thanks Mike - not sure what you mean by 'dirty little flowers' (tch
tch). I've not been crossing with yellows - right now I can't remember
what crosses were successful other than 'VIGILANTE', both directions.
Not 100% positive that's the right name, but until I get the real thing
to compare, I will call it that. I think the only other 'take' I got
was with CELEBRATION SONG.
Why, you ask? Well, those two are weedy growers here, produce prolific
bloom in spring, and have some interesting backgrounds. Hopefully not
all the flowers will be narrow, but they may all be kinda small.
How hard is it to breed back to larger flowers?
