CULT: green ick, comet

Thanks Bill Shear for your thoughts and reporting on the relatively
unscented 'green ick' probably being soft rot in the leaves and stems
where food for the wee bacteria isn't rich enough to set up a good stink
versus full blown nastiy nauseating soft rot in rhizomes when the litte
buggers are getting a full course dinner.

Now I'm wondering if I could walk around with a garden duster full of
Comet and just powder the whole place. Wonder what the ladybugs would
think of that?

Will other cleansers work as well? I keep remembering the cultivar
named AJAX THE LESS & still wonder if it was named that because it was
less prone to rot than its companions...
